Hi Backers!
Just wanted to give you a little heads up that we plan to charge cards for add-on items you purchased or any additional funds you may owe through BackerKit on Saturday December 12th. Make sure that you have the correct card information on file. If any issues arise with your payment you’ll receive an email letting your know to correct your payment information.

Last call for order updates & Coloring Book Mock Up

The last day to make final updates to your order is December 5th, 2020. After this date, we will lock your reward selections and charge cards for add-on item purchases, pledge upgrades, and pre-orders. You can update your shipping address up until we lock addresses for shipping, which will be in January.
If you haven’t answered your survey yet, if you fill out your BackerKit survey or pay for extra shipping after the December 5th order due date, we’ll still receive your information but your shipment may be delayed. There are about 10 folks that still need to fill out their surveys.

Here is the mock up for the Coloring Book, we are only 4 pre-orders away from unlocking them! They are going to be 8.5x8.5 inches, 24 pages, with the facing sides blank so folks can use markers or tear them out if they'd like.
Thank you all again for being so responsive to answering our BackerKit survey—even though it may not seem like much as an individual backer, you have no idea how tremendously helpful this has been for me when trying to keep track of all 107 of you!

Surveys Sent and Some FAQs

Yesterday you should have received an email with a special link to your BackerKit survey.
I'm going to include the info here from my previous update for a refresher since its been about a week now.
It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. Here are some FAQs
When is the last day I can fill out my survey?
December 1st, 2020 Then I can place the order for the pins with the manufacturer.
When will my order be shipped?
Orders are on track to be shipped out to backers in late January/early February 2021. Once the funds are released to my bank account I'll be working with the manufacturer and collecting surveys from backers until December 1st. At that time I can give the go ahead on production and we'll be on track for them to arrive in January and after grading and packaging they'll be going out.
I selected Add-ons on Kickstarter how are they added?
If you selected add-ons it’ll show up as additional money pledged as a "credit" and you can choose your rewards through the add-on section of the survey!
When will I be charged for my Add-ons?
If you pay via Paypal you will be charged once you check out. However, if you pay via card you will not be charged right away. I have it set at this time to charge in mid December. If I do have them charged earlier I will make sure to send out an email/notification to let everyone know beforehand.
What does the "Kickstarter Exclusive" mean? I didn't back the project but still want one of the items!
These items, like the Mimic Earrings and postcards are exclusive to add on for backers of the Kickstarter Campaign and also during the pre-order period here on Backerkit. You do not have to have had to pledge to the campaign but these will not be sold outside of the pre-order shop here on Backerkit, so get them while you can!
What if I move later before my rewards are shipped?
You’ll be able to change your address any time until we’re ready to ship! Addresses will be locked close to ship date and I'll be sending out an update that goes out beforehand.
Can I change my add-ons later?
Add-ons will be able to be changed anytime up until the surveys are locked.

I finished the postcard set this week and am pretty pleased with the result! They will be available as a set or in singles as an add on in BackerKit.
Surveys are in final approval stages!

* Payment Corrections *
There were only a handful of folks' payments that didn't go through. If that's you, please update your payment information so that I can get you the sweet sweet pins you pledged for. If they aren't updated in a week Kickstarter will drop the pledge and no pins for you.
*Surveys Going Out Later This Week *
I am still putting the finishing touches on the surveys, this gives me time to get everything mocked up, for backers to update their payments and I can do what the call a smoke test via Backerkit. Which is sending out a small percentage of surveys out as a test to make sure everything is correct and working.
If you don't receive your survey right away, don't worry, that is normal and they will all be sent out by Friday evening this week.
*Freebie Bat Rough Sketch*
I took a poll on Twitter, and it looks like we'll be adding a bat as the free mini pin for the 6+ pin tiers! Like with the rat, it will be offered as an add on for $8 with Backerkit surveys. The design may change a bit but I wanted to give you all an idea of what to expect from our new tiny fren.
* Freebie 3" Stickers for All Backers Finished! *
Here is a look at the finished sticker design. When I designed one of the postcards I thought that it would make such a cute sticker and here we are! They will be included in all backer levels.
* Pins and Other Item Productions *
- Pins are being mocked up with their pantone color selections to be sent over to the manufacturers next week.
- Once funds are released by Kickstarter in a couple of weeks I'll be able to pay the manufacturer and they'll get the mock ups and then the molds made.
- I'll be posting any photos of mock ups, molds or samples here in updates as I receive them for all merch and pins.
- The lanyards have already been ordered and are on their way to me.
- The stickers will be ordered once surveys are complete.
- I am still getting quotes for the coloring book to determine the price point for everyone. So far I have 8.5x11 saddle stitched and appx 20 pages.
